Global Fund partnership forum seeks input to 2012-2016 strategy
13 April 2011 - Geneva - The Global Fund has convened its fourth partnership forum and launched a number of consultations designed to inform the fund's next strategy.
The forum, themed "working together, shaping our future: access, accountability, rights", invites stakeholders to submit their views via a number of different channels.
Around 400 guests from various organizations and sectors have been invited to the forum’s main conference in Sao Paulo, from 28 to 30 June. In addition, anyone interested in the fund's work is invited to participate in the partnership forum online, either via an e-survey or e-forum.
The e-survey is running until the end of May and asks for feedback on the fund's performance and suggestions for the future. In the e-forum, participants will discuss several strategic questions in a moderated online space. The discussion will focus on how the fund can ensure value for money, maximize its impact, address human rights in the context of HIV, tuberculosis and malaria and strengthen the effectiveness of country-level partnerships.
The Global Fund will ensure that feedback from all the consultations is reported to its board.
