Student association launches TB awareness programme in Rwanda


15 April 2011 - Kigali, Rwanda - The Rwanda Pharmaceutical Students Association (RPSA) has launched a project to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB) in rural communities in southern Rwanda.

The project has targeted Gisagara and Nyanza districts and has a particular focus on young people. Activities include creating and strengthening youth clubs and educating young people about the importance of good quality TB drugs.

The project will be implemented with the help of volunteers from the RPSA and will last eight months.
