New case study provides practical tips for implementing public-private mix projects
14 November 2011 - Phnom Penh - The Cambodia National Centre for Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control (CENAT), municipal and provincial health departments in Cambodia, PATH and other partners have finalized a five year public private mix (PPM) project in Cambodia with funding from the United States Agency for International Development.
The partners have produced a document highlighting the process and lessons learned from setting up the project called Public-Private Mix: Involving Pharmacy Staff and Other Private Providers in TB Control - A Cambodia Case Study. It provides insight and practical recommendations to help others replicate the success of the PPM model in their own efforts to partner with the public and private sectors for TB control.
