Apply now for Union Public Health, Young Investigator and Scientific Prizes
26 April 2012 - Paris - Applications and nominations are now being accepted for The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (the Union) annual awards. The awards recognise achievements in tuberculosis or another area of lung health and are presented at The Union World Conference on Lung Health which will be held this year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 13 to 17 November.
The three categories of awards are the Karel Styblo Public Health Prize, which honours physicians, health workers or community organizations for contributions over a period of 10 or more years; The Union Young Investigator Prize, which honours publications in the past five years when the researcher was 35 years old or younger; and The Union Scientific Prize, which honours researchers at any stage of their career. Both nominations and self-nominations are accepted. The deadline is Saturday, 30 June 2012.
