First Xpert machines arrive in Kazakhstan
22 August 2012 - Almaty, Kazakhstan - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has delivered four GeneXpert tuberculosis (TB) diagnostic machines to the Government of Kazakhstan.
The GeneXpert machines were donated to facilities in Almaty, Akmola, and the East Kazakhstan Oblast. USAID’s work in Kazakhstan is implemented through the TB CARE I Project, carried out by a consortium of seven partners led by KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, the Dialogue on HIV and TB Project and Population Services International.
