Dr Pere-Joan Cardona Iglesias wins two awards
30 November 2012 - Barcelona - Dr Pere-Joan Cardona Iglesias, the head of the (Experimental Tuberculosis Unit) won two awards in November.
On 12 November, the Medical Association of Barcelona awarded Dr Cardona with the the Premi a l’Excel•lència Professional. The award recognizes outstanding professional work, as well as integrity, altruism, honesty and commitment.
Today, Omnium Cultural, an independent organization that aims to promote Catalan culture, awarded Dr Cardona with the Premi Bages de Cultura 2012. Dr Cardona was recognized for his scientific achievements and his commitment to Catalonian culture.
