Sue Etkind appointed as Executive Director of Stop TB USA

4 December 2012 - Sue Etkind has succeeded John Seggerson as the Executive Director of Stop TB USA.

Sue Etkind was formerly Director of TB Prevention and Control for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. She has served on the National Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Tuberculosis and consulted for the former Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, the Centers for Substance Abuse Treatment and the American Lung Association.

Founded in 1992 as the National Coalition for Elimination of Tuberculosis, Stop TB USA aims to bring partners together to eliminate tuberculosis in the United States, as well as supporting efforts to eliminate the disease globally.
