TAG publishes advocates guide to bedaquiline, new collection of childhood TB stories
12 March 2013 - New York - Treatment Action Group (TAG) has published two new advocacy reports.
An Activist’s Guide to Bedaquiline highlights important safety and efficacy data on the new tuberculosis (TB) drug and offers advocacy recommendations for activists.
We Can Heal, published with the Sentinel Project, is a collection of stories about children suffering from drug-resistant TB. An update to the Being Brave report issued last year, We Can Heal contains the stories of 30 children from 30 countries.
The stories reveal widespread problems related to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of drug-resistant TB. They also describe the courage of the children who fight for their lives against the disease and the roles of family members and care providers who fight alongside them.
