Guidance on managing drug-resistant TB now available as application for tablet computers

24 March 2013 - To support the distribution of World Health Organization (WHO) guidance on programmatic management of drug-resistant TB (PMDT), the WHO Stop TB Department has supported the World Medical Association and New Jersey Medical School Global Tuberculosis Institute to create applications for use on tablet computers based on its online training course on PMDT.

The application is now available for the Android platform. A version for use on Apple iPads will be available soon. Once users have installed the applications, the majority of the course content is available without the need for an internet connnection.
