Stop TB Partnership

Janssen Korea and the Korean National Tuberculosis Association Launch Partnership Program for a TB-free Korea as Part of 'Lung Tree Care' Campaign

04 September - Korea - Janssen Korea, together with the Korean National Tuberculosis Association (KNTA), has launched a new partnership program aimed at raising awareness of tuberculosis (TB).

The initiative, which forms part of Janssen Korea’s 'Lung Tree Care' campaign, brings together various stakeholders around a series of high-profile awareness events, including a walking festival in October with The National Council of Youth Organizations, free screening activities for foreign workers with the Salvation Army and a concert at National TB hospitals in support of patients.

Janssen Korea will also collaborate with partners to launch an online patient community as part of the country’s largest web portal in September. On the site, patients will be provided with scientific and medical information about the disease, have access to professional consultation and be able to network and interact with other patients.

The ‘Lung Tree Care’ campaign was launched by Janssen Korea earlier this year on World Tuberculosis Day, with the goal of preventing TB infection and to raise further public awareness on the disease.
