Canada helps to defeat global tuberculosis epidemic
24 March 2005 -- Ottawa -- Today, on the eve of World Tuberculosis Day, the Honourable Aileen Carroll, Minister of International Cooperation, announced that the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) will provide $38 million this year in additional support to the fight against tuberculosis (TB).
