Stop TB Partnership seeks new Private Sector Constituency Board Member

08 February 2017 - Geneva, Switzerland - The Stop TB Partnership today launched its Private Sector Constituency (PSC) Coordinating Board Member application process. The PSC Board Member serves in her or his professional capacity to represent the Constituency as a voting member of the Stop TB Partnership’s Coordinating Board, and brings her or his broad experiences, perspectives, and wisdom to provide critical guidance into the Board’s discussions and decision-making.

The Private Sector Constituency (PSC) is a group of over 100 private sector companies that have come together to bring the business community’s expertise, assets, and voice to support meeting the targets set forth by The Global Plan to End TB, 2016-2020: The Paradigm Shift, support the achievement of Stop TB partnership’s strategic goals as outlined in its Operational Strategy, 2016-2020, and, ultimately, end TB by 2035 as set forth in the WHO End TB Strategy.

The application process is open to private sector representatives who have actively contributed to the fight against TB and/or are ready to actively contribute to achieving Stop TB Partnership’s goals. The new member to the Stop TB Partnership’s Coordinating Board will be selected for a three-year term, renewable once. There is no restriction on age, sex, or nationality of potential nominees.
