Positive Media Support Group (PMSG) is a non-governmental organization of people living with HIV (PLWH) based in Markudi, Benue State. The organization focuses on using communication through the media to empower communities affected by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and related diseases to address issues related to stigma, access to treatment, gender-based violence and prevention interventions on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and related diseases in Nigeria. It also undertakes research, surveys and studies on socio-economic and cultural factors affecting community vulnerability to the spread of the diseases as well as access to treatment and care among people living with and affected by the diseases. |
