Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement:
Currently implements an ACSM project in 300/645 districts in India through a Round 9 Global Fund grant in collaboration with the Government of India and World Vision India

Drug-Resistant TB:
Technically support through training specialist physicians in the programmatic management of drug resistant TB in India and Indonesia

TB-HIV:
Technical support to the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme of the Government of India on demand basis

New Diagnostics:
Implement a project to upgrade sputum microscopy in 200 high throughput medical colleges in India with LED fluorescent microscopes through a WHO TB REACH Wave II grant. Collaborate with partners in supporting private sector involvement with new diagnostics such as Gene Xpert.

Operational Research:
Training, mentoring and support for operational research in India and the SE Asian region
