Organization Description:
ABSE is an NGO based at Burkina Faso in West Africa. The objectives of ABSE are numerous and diversified. The most important are:
- To fight against infantile mortality
- To fight against ignorance and illiteracy
- To fight against Tuberculosis and HIV in Burkina Faso
- To promote and make people respect the children’s rights
- To work towards the social and socio-professional reinsertion of children and of young people having difficulties
- To work towards the development and the fulfillment of women and children in Burkina Faso.

STRATEGIES AND INTERVENTION DOMAINS
To fulfill its objectives, ABSE uses the following strategies:
- The Information-Education-Communication (IEC)
-The execution of support programs to basis education
-The participative approach and implication of the target public at every level of the execution of the programs
- The technical, material and financial supports
-The approach child for child
-The lobbying

The main domains of intervention are:
-The education and the promotion for the rights of children
-Health
-The social mobilization in favor of children
-The protection of the environment
-The support to the promotion of women.
