DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: We do stage ACSM and DOTS expansion activities in remote areas where they can hardly access healthcare. TB-HIV: Making sure those clients infected with HIV are tested for TB as well. We have travelled to Uganda to observe how The AIDS Support Organisation (TASO) implements their triage system for TB patients as well as giving medication at the clients house in remote areas. We are doing just that here in Ghana to contribute to the Global Plan. New Diagnostics: Referring of cases from the community to the clinics for sputum collection and testing |
