| Mahad Help Foundation (MHF)established in 2000, and having registered status in Pakistan Administered Kashmir, having executive body, Board of Directors and professional working staff. MHF working on tuberculosis, Malaria and HIV/AIDS issues since 2002, having panel of experts regarding trainings, workshops, and seminars on TB, malaria and HIV/ AIDS. MHF also done different projects on said health issues with the help of national and international donors. MHF volunteers are trained and enthusiastic on DOTS and working in close collaboration with the CBOs partner with MHF for identification and direct observation treatment in limited areas of District Muzaffarabad, due to limited resources |

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: MHF Volunteers involved in DOTS Since 5 years in district Muzaffarabad of State of Kashmir, these registered volunteers having responsibility of 3 villages which having positive cases of TB, and having sepcialized charts of attendance for each day and successfully completed many 8 and 9 months courses of TB. also these volunteers are registered with the GAVI project of Government of AJK in which DOTS is Mandatory TB-HIV: MHF also worked on awarness of Tb and HIV through organizing seminars, interpersonal communication strategies, and through mass media campaign through print and electronic media, and provide awareness at grass root level. |
