Founded in June 2005, CPA Uganda was formally registered as an NGO in Uganda in December 2005 to promote the values of the Commonwealth. The mission of the Association is “to facilitate the effective participation of the Ugandan population in the Commonwealth in order have fair and just society for all.”

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement:
CPAUG has over the past 6 years been undertaking educational outreach programmes in Uganda targeting students and youth people aged 7-25 years.

So far 8 educational campaigns have been held every year as part of our information sharing work focusing on the World TB Day having reached to over 1,400 students, teachers, medical workers, government health personal, media and other stakeholders.
