A EERP/USP, como Centro Colaborador, atende ao compromisso de promover ações de:

incentivo, desenvolvimento e disseminação de pesquisas em enfermagem, orientadas para demonstrar a contribuição da enfermagem e obstetrícia à saúde comunitária e da família;

formação acadêmica e capacitação de enfermeiros, pesquisadores e líderes de instituições de ensino, de saúde e de organizações comunitárias, visando contribuir para as decisões das políticas de saúde e à eficácia da atenção à saúde;

atuação como um centro de pesquisa e treinamento na América Latina em áreas prioritárias.



Diretrizes de atuação:

desenvolvimento de projetos de pesquisa multicêntricos;
aproximação com serviços de saúde, instâncias de participação e controle social, instituições de pesquisa e de ensino nacionais e internacionais, para responder às situações e necessidades identificadas no setor saúde, na prática assistencial e educacional;
celebração de parcerias institucionais no setor público que se voltam para a formação e capacitação de pessoal e mantêm convênios de amplitude nacional e internacional, objetivando o fortalecimento da pesquisa, do ensino em seus diferentes níveis, e da assistência em enfermagem.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

Operational Research:
We are conducting researches which aims to evalute health care services perfomance in TB diagnosis and treatment. We have been trying to clarify the specificities of treatment and diagnostic processes in municipalities of different regions of Brazil.

I declare that I coordinate an operational research group, that integrate many researchers from many universities of Brazil (Paraiba Federal University, Ribeirao Preto School of Medicine, Feira de Santana University, Rio de Janeiro Federal University and others) and I am interested in participating of the STOP TB working groups, being updated about the informations about the TB control actions and creating partnerships.
