| Medicina Social Comunitaria A.C. (MSC) was established in Tijuana, Mexico in December 1982 to address health and development issues in the U.S.-Mexico Border. TB is one of the key issues border residents face. MSC works with the Ministry of Health (Secretaria de Salud) through ACSM, community-based promotoras (change agents) that help people affected by TB complete treatment and prevent treatment interrumption. MSC works with communities to increase their involvement and participation in TB management and control decisions. |
