Japan Anti-Tuberculosis Association(JATA)is a public corporation established on 22 May 1939. The following are the major activities of JATA.
1. To promote public concern on the prevention of tuberculosis and other related diseases.
2. To conduct research and survey on tuberculosis and other related diseases and operated medical and research institutions needed for this purpose.
3. To educate and train personnel engaged in the prevention of tuberculosis and other related diseases.
4. To raise fund and to support activities for controlling tuberculosis and other related diseases.
5. To conduct international cooperation in tuberculosis control. |
