DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: UGOOD is working on 5 components of DOTS in Pakistan: 1. Political commitment with increased and sustained financing 2. Case detection through quality-assured bacteriology 3. Standardized treatment with supervision and patient support 4. An effective drug supply and management system 5. Monitoring and evaluation system and impact measurement TB-HIV: UGOOD identifying and giving treatments to the TB-HIV affectees in Pakistan with the help of National TB Support Program. New TB Vaccines: UGOOD have started TB vaccination all over in Pakistan with the help of National TB Control Program and Deutsche Bank-Pakistan especially in Flood affected areas where more than 50,000 TB patients identified according to UGOOD Survey Report. |
