New Diagnostics: QBC Diagnostics also offers a growing line of cutting edge fluorescence microscopy products. The ParaLens Advance microscope attachment uses a bright, durable LED light source to easily and affordably transform any compound light microscope into a fluorescence microscope. The F.A.S.T.™ (Fluorescence and Staining Technologies)AFB kits provide rapid, sensitive fluorescent staining and processing supplies for infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis. These products can be combined with a microscope, centrifuge, or multiple power options to create a simple fluorescence microscopy solution to meet any lab's needs. |

| Declaration of interests: QBC is a medical device manufacturer of complete systems for the detection of AFB using sputum smear microscopy. We offer a microscope lens attachment to convert a standard light microscope into a LED fluorescent microscope. We also offer TB stains, specimen & QC slides, & other accessories. Our largest focus is on training lab technicians & other personel in the use of FM to detect AFB in sputum smears & thereby assist current microscopy labs in DOTS expansion & enhancement. We offer full & complete on site training programs, bench aids, DVDs, & web based training and we believe this can be a valuable resource to many programs/ countries who wish to enhance their capacity to fight TB. | |
