| Manush Manusher Jonnyo is a not- for-profit making organization founded in 1977 for the betterment of the community people of Bangladesh. It mainly focuses on advocacy, awareness building, consciousness raising, educate the people on TB and later on would like to work on curative and preventive service program on TB infectious diseases. The primary health care, water & sanitation, hygienic situation, food & nutrition, health care and medical services are not very high, so, people are easily infected with TB,working to uphold media campaign, community approach to highlight HIV/Aids, Malaria, Leprosy and other health hazards. Basically our NGO is working across the coastal belts of the mangrove forest the Sundarban (declared as the World heritage site by the UNESCO).The river dominating zones were seriously devastated by killer cyclone the SIDR (2007) and the AILA in 2009, still the rootless people are living under the blue sky without food, warm cloths, shelter less within the water. So, they have no attention to health hazards. Manush Manusher Jonnyo volunteers are with them to provide advocacy approach to the victims of TB patients for survival and existence in against of the diseases.TB makes a man ill and weak,so, we are striving for Sound Health for All |
