| The College of Medicine is one of the constitutional colleges of the University of Malawi. It is the only institute that train medical doctors as well as pharmacists and medical laboratory sciences (MLS)to a Bachellor's degree level. Our Department runs the MLS honors degree programme. We are also involved in a research and diagnostics TB laboratory. This is one of the 4 state of the art Tuberculosis Laboratories in Malawi that can do culture and Molecular susceptibility testing. We support Interventional research as well as perform validation for novel (and affordable) diagnostic tools for tuberculosis. |
