Organization Description:
Ramakrishna Mission Pallimangal Kamarpukur is a rural wing of Ramakrishna Mission Kamarpukur which is a branch centre of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, BelurMath, Howrah,WB,India.It is established by the great Indian religious leader Swami Vivekananda in the year 1897.Though it is a religious organisation it has been doing philanthropic activities since inception for the poor downtroden people of the surrounding areas,mainly in the field of Health and education.
We are involved in RNTCP since 2002. Now one Govt. affiliated DMCTC has been running since 2007.

A Govt affiliated Microscopy Centre and Treatment Centre has been running since 2007. A small scale ACSM programme has been cinducting since 2002.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
We are working in the field of RNTCP in a small scale. A MCTC unit with OPD service has been running since 2007. Common people in India are mostly neglect their health and hygine in individual and family life. To upgrade their sense of health and hygine mass health education is needed. We are trying our level best,but due to paucity of fund we are unable to do at our best.sputum collection unit,DOT providor service, defaulter retrieval service, intensive interpersonal communication etc are urgently necessary to enhance the programme.We can give such type of effort services if fund is available.

Declaration of interests:
It is the only interest to give the service among the poor downtrodden uneducated people through RNTCP programme. Most of the TB patients are due to poor nutrition and poor hygiene. Our aim is early TB case detection and early DOTs treatment,to restrict the morbidity and mortality rate on TB and it is a dream to make a TB free society .
