Organization Description:
Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) is local NGO working for the promotion of environmental and human rights of rural communities. This rights include Health Rights as well.
As an NGO we are very much concern about HIV/AIDS,Malaria and TB, because these diseases affect families and when its happens it has a lot of implication on the plights of their children, so in such situation there is an urgent need for an organisation to work for the control of TB among rural families as well as protect children from contacting TB and other associated diseases.
In GREENCODE currently working on Health care system strengthening Advocacy. We collate and share information with other NGOs and community based organisation on Health issues including TB, HIV/AIDS. We aslo plan to be supporting TB affected family with support to their children to go back to school/educational support. Also we advice suspected cases to approved TB centres for treament.

We have not yet linked up with Nigeria National TB Control programme because we do not have contact with them. But we welcome any help in this direction.

TB-HIV:
We counselled and offer refferal services to people living positively with HIV/AIDS whom be suspect are having TB.
We Also offer psychosocial support to poeple affected by TB.

New Diagnostics:
We try to diagnose for new TB inffection among people in rural communities, especailly women and children

New TB Drugs:
Here we read and research through literature to identify any new TV Vaccine and Drugs discovered, then share the information with other CSOs and Treatment centers.
