.INTRODUC TION
Thabo Mwale TB Foundation alias (TMTBF) was established and formally registered in 2005 as a Non-Profit Organization NPO 037-833 it has resumed its operation in 2009. The foundation consists of seven board members, five managing committee members and thirty volunteer members who work as care givers (DOT Supporters), peer educators and TB/HIV counselors.TMTBF is TB/HIV and Aids prevention and awareness campaign foundation.TMTBF is currently running a TB/HIV project in Gauteng, Tshwane District Municipality. The foundation is working hand in hand with the Department of Health and also a member of Stop TB Partnership (www.stoptbpartnership.org) and Advocacy Partnership.
The foundation was found by Mr. Thabo Mwale, who himself is a TB survivor. He was infected in 1994 and was cured in 1997. His extended period of infection was caused by defaulting on TB treatment. He is now surviving with one lung and currently being appointed a TB Ambassador for Tshwane in 2009 by the Department of Health.
Government, medical councils, TB Alliances different Non-profit Organizations, hospitals and clinics are in this struggle against this deadly disease. The struggle is far from over, there are many challenges faced by all parties. Despite all this people are still dying of TB in SA.
There can never be enough programmes, organizations and people working on the fight against TB. There still is a need to increase and utilize all the necessary resources so that the fight against TB can be strengthened and ultimately reduced. It is for this reason that, Thabo Mwale TB Foundation was founded and started.
OUR GOAL
The goal- to reduce dramatically the burden of TB by 2015 in South Africa in line with Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and the Stop TB Partnership targets.

| The foundation is well recognized by National TB Control programm. We support and attend all National Event also participate on the TB Day planning. We volunter to deliver the information that a run by the Department. The founder of the foundation is also a TB Ambassador in the region |
