Organization Description:
BRUDA is a community based organisation, working at the grassroot level and approved by the local government at the the District registriation number at District lavel is cbo/312 then NGO's 5419/4642. The group is carrying a number of activities include: Health Education, caring for the sick, TB CB DOTS,home visiting,HIV/AIDS awareness and counselling,caring for the needy ( orphans, single mothers, eldery agriculture( kitchen gardening) etc.

II) We are interested in TB because we were born in TB prone areas where by most of our people are affected with the disease, now day TB is on increase due to HIV/AIDS.
PLANS:-
1)Early treatment of the identified smear positive TB cases through CB DOTS.
2)Training of Village Health Team (VHT) on how to recognise early sighns and symptoms of TB in the community.
3) To make use of intense case finding forms.
4) Tracing of treatment defaulters.
5) Community sensitization of early sighs and symptoms of TB.

We are coordinating or reporting to the District TB/Leprosy supervisor kasese.
as mentioned above we are carry out TB community awareness, TB case finding and reffering,palliative care to HIV/AIDS and TB patients, CB DOTS etc.

TB Care Delivery:
We trace patients on TB treatment through TB health units rigesters and take drugs to them in the community.

TB-HIV:
Home based care in the communities, home visiting, plaliative cre to bad ridden patients of both TB and HIV, community and relative counsellings

New Diagnostics:
We do case finding in the community and reffere then for laboratory test to confirm if their TB/HIV positive.
