The National Telehealth Center exists to promote the use of telehealth and related technologies in forming strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the delivery of services where such concepts are applicable. This shall be accomplished through responsible and innovative use of telecommunications and computer technologies. The Center aims to bridge the gaps between health services, educational needs, and community resources.
Through the development of sustainable telehealth applications and through collaborations with organizations, health professionals, health workers, clients and the community at large, the National Telehealth Center will lead in the promotion of the responsible use of technology in health, ensure quality in its endeavors, and empower its clients through information and knowledge exchange. |
