Organization Description:
1. Manna Resource Development Center aka MRDC is a christian faith based community focused non governmental, non profit organization. it is a response to the state of hopelessness being experienced in our communities due to poverty, ignorance and apathy.It is involved in the main with the identification, sourcing and utilization of natural resources for the economic empowerment and wholistic development of communities where these resources are found.

2. We are interested in tuberculosis because of the correlationship it has with HIV and AIDS. having been involved in HIV activities since 2004, it is imperative for us to be involved for effective service delivery.

3. We have been involved in social mobilization and Advocacy and we are seeking ways of scaling up.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
We have benefitted from the global fund round 5 project in carrying out advocacy, communications and social mobilization in Gwandu emirate council of Kebbi State, Nigeria. This was as a sub sub recepient to Intergender (NGO) who were sub recepients to CHAN.

TB-HIV:
As the Assistant State Coordinator of Plateau State chapter of the Civil Society HIV and AIDS in Nigeria(CISHAN), i was trained on the DOTS programme. This has enabled us identify patients and make refferrals.
