Organization Description:
Since 1993 few youth has started a group to promote and create awareness about rights among masses initially as Greens Pakistan. The primarily objective was to engage youth in productive activities around rights. Over the years Greens Pakistan transformed into well defined and organized group of youth, supported by local philanthropists to fund their activities. In 1998 the name was changed to Foundation for Alternative Development (FAD) to pursue broader solutions of communal problems ranging from unemployment, poverty, interest group exploitation, child labour and quality of life in terms of education, health, livelihood and creation of economic opportunities.
FAD believes that falling victim of TB, poor families are marginalized or excluded from the race of survival; hence it poses one of the major hindrance in familial progress.

FAD intends to start an operational research initiative to determine how TB free individuals struggle better than people suffering from TB.
