Organization Description:
CHILD EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PROJECT (CEAP) was established in 1998 by a group of dedicated concern men and women in the Akuapim North District in the Eastern Region of Ghana who have interest in the education of young people in the rural areas of the Region and Ghana at large.
CEAP has a mission of ensuring equal opportunities of Life, quality education, healthy environment and improved quality of life for its target population.
CEAP is registered with Registrar General Department - Ghana with registration number G4571. CEAP is also registered with the Department of Social Welfare with Certificate of Recognition Number DSW 1155.

ACHIEVEMENT
CEAP from 2009 has done a lot of work on TB in the Eastern Region of Ghana especially Suhum Kraboa Coaltar where TB rate was on the high side. Our Activity was in the areas of providing health services , education, Advocacy and Monitoring of TB cases in these part of the COUNTRY.
CEAP is member and has been working with the National TB CONTROL PROGRAMME SINCE 2009.

CEAP was the lead organization in tracking the public spending on the Capitation grant in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The findings of this activity was given a press release and has also been presented t o Ministry of Education for action to be taken on the leakages in the system.

CEAP has also been lobbying and working closely with government, policy makers, development partners and other educational institutions in various areas of education so as to meet the target of primary universal education for all by 2015.
CEAP has also been conducting research in various fields of education with the view to providing empirical data to inform policy formulation and decision making in education Within the Eastern Region of Ghana
