DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: Scale up community DOTS is now being implemented in Myanmar as TB was accounted high burden. Drug-Resistant TB: Due to TB HIV co-infection and in-adherence, DR TB is rising up in Myanmar TB-HIV: Higher migration, less availability of job opportunities and poor socio-economic status accounted gave rise to growing incidence of HIV with progression in TB disease. Operational Research: It needs to ensure which areas of implementation to be improved. |
