| Santé Tropicale est une Organisation Non Gouvernementale à vocation médicale opérant en République Démocratique du Congo. L'objectif principal est la lutte contre les maladies tropicales. Pour y parvenir, Santé Tropicale intervient dans les domaines suivants : Medical assistance,volunteering, Tropical diseases (Malaria,Trypanosomiasis, etc ), AIDS,Tuberculosis, Primary health care, Matenal and child health, Family planning, Security food / nutrition, Hygiene, water and sanitation. Nous sommes intéressés parce que la TB fait partie de nos domaines d'action. Tenant compte de nos moyens financiers limités, nos actions tournent autour de sensibilisation de la population. |

| Nous travaillons en collaboration avec les autorités locales. Nous orientons les cas vers les structures adaptées pour une meilleure prise en charge. Nous sommes en train de faire une mise en place interne " Disease Prevention and Control " qui peut servir de référence au niveau national pour le contrôle de TB. | |

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: La mise en place d'une médecine préventive en utlisant des médias et des supports informatiques, tout orienté vers le dépistage et le traitement. TB-HIV: Une équipe de médicins est en charge du Pôle co-infection TB-HIV-Paludisme. L'équipe cherche des financements pour commencer des recherches dans ce domaine. Laboratory Strengthening: Acquisition du matériel neuf pour moderniser le laboratoire. |
