| Organization Description: |
The Yellow Bandages Foundation(YBF) is a nonprofit organization with a mission of helping children of terminally-ill parents and/or guardians.
YBF is wants a child to be a child. Our goal is to get him/her out of the house or hospital, where the reminder of their parent’s condition is all around them, and into activities that will help a child deal with what’s going on in his/her world.
Tuberculosis, among other illnesses, kills everyday with children living in the shadows of the illness'. Through education, funding, and other prgrams, YBF thrives to prevent TB and other diseases from taking away a child's parent or guardian and leaving her/him in the dark. |
