| NITC researches on novel technologies in rapid detection of TB bacilli from clinical samples and in vivo studies. My PhD research was on vaccine development against MDR strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Also, interested in anti-mycobacterial susceptibility testing, rational drug design, in vivo studies, etc. My role as an educator in disseminating the information about the ways to control the spread of TB and proper precautions for the same. |
