| Organization Description: |
Social Progressive Action Research and Service to Humanity Society (SPARSHs)is an organisation formed with the aim of development of human society with special emphasis on the empowerment of the people at the lower strata of society and envisioning an equal opportunity to them in long run. With this vision in mind a group of enthusiastic youth from the countryside belonging to different social background came forward for a common cause of humanity that not only put forth the importance of human value at the international arena but also understands the dynamism to social progress as well as all those environmental factors influencing the daily lives of human society. Formally our organisation was registered on 27th December 2008.
Our interest in tuberculosis is derived from the fact that this is the single most infectious disease causing great loss to human and their kin. This tends to put a disturbing trend in our intrinsic nature of livelihood -poverty, illiteracy put our masses at risk of infection and the situation becomes worse when there is lack of health awareness among the masses.
We have a plan to reach (with tuberculosis awareness program) dipper in to regions of UP especially the eastern districts covering the segregated population along the Vindhyanchal Mountains across the Mirzapur and Sonebhadra District who are at greater risk of contracting this infection as they falls in remotely located and hard to reach population category. Given an opportunity and funding support we might look for a '24 hours 7 days' helpline number to resolve the queries of people related to tuberculosis as well. |
