1.Chichetekelo is a community based organization which was formed out of a support group of people living with HIV and AIDS. Cured TB Patients from the support group decided to form this organization specifically to address TB issues and create awareness that TB is curable through personal testimonies. 2.TB continues to be the number one killer of people in the HIV positive community, therefore as cured patients, we want to fight the stigma associated with TB,advocate for health rights including the TB patients charter and above all spread messages that TB is curable because we are the living example. 3. We are already creating awareness about prevention through door to door, rural outreach and radio campaigns. |
