Department of Health,Central Tibetan Administration have separate section on TB and MDR prevention and Control.
This section takes care of TB in about 60 Tibetan refugee settlements in India, Nepal and Bhutan.

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement:
We are doing out Best to expand DOTS in all Tibetan settlements mentioned above

Drug-Resistant TB:
We are doing out Best to prevent and detect MDR TB in all Tibetan settlements mentioned above

TB-HIV:
we have also coordination between TB and HIV prevention and control program

Laboratory Strengthening:
We are doing at our Best effort to set up fullfledged Laboratory with well trained Lab Technician.We are able to set up one GeneXpert machine each at two of biggest hospital located in Tibetan refugee settlements in Karnataka state, India
