Organization Description:
Pitjeng foundation is a non-profit organisation that was created to support disadvantaged communities in rural areas in South Africa. It is currently sponsoring the soccer team that is used as a vehicle to increase health awareness aspects related to the spread and prevention of Tuberculosis in Limpopo (Mopani Municipality Region) and Gauteng (Ekurhuleni Municipality). The TB focus is inspired by the need to eliminate the loss of lives. I personally believe that sports would draw the relevant attention in creating a good platform for discussions and information sharing around TB related matters during and after sports activities
