1. Introduction of BPWT Bhoruka Public Welfare Trust (Henceforth, mentioned as BPWT/Bhoruka) was established in 1979 by TCI-ABC groups, with aim to improve quality of life of general population by mainly promoting public health related issues and its social determinants. It was also awarded the prestigious ISO 9001: 2008 certificate. It fulfills corporate social responsibility of ABC India Ltd. It has presence in 5 states of India e.g. West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. Bhoruka’s main focuses are Reproductive and Sexual Health, Anti Human trafficking, HIV/AIDS prevention, safe blood transfusion and working with vulnerable children.
2. Aims of BPWT
