Anjana Ghosh Memorial Social Welfare Trust (AGMSWT) is a non-governmental, non-profit making and a charitable organization committed to saving lives, alleviating the burden of disease and creating new possibilities for better health and quality of life in the communities we serve.
The organisation has acquired experience in the fields of Integrated Health and Rural Development which includes, Income Generation Activity for Village women and unemployed youth, Education for Children, Family Planning Programme, Mother and Child Health Programme, Flood relief programme, Stop TB Working, Aids/HIV, Women Empowerment and skill up-gradation to rural women as well as village level Government functionaries’ etc.
Vision of AGMSWT: -
To promote and adoption of value base technology for sustainable rural and agriculture development, leaping towards a free from poverty and hunger in social order, ensure health care and safe portable drinking water in all village and work for the sustainable growth of the society.
Mission of AGMSWT:
1. The mission of AGMSWT is to assimilate and share knowledge about nature with a systematic approach in order to improve scientific values through education, health, agriculture, molecular biology, Bioscience activities, economic development, energy, build insights, and enable individual and collective advancement in scientific research and study of biological diversity and conservation of complex environment and social issues facing society today throughout the world.
2. AGMSWT interested to work in close partnership with Government, NGO and people in TB affected for better health care and livelihood for the affected families in TB and increase their livelihood status and social status with out discrimination of gender.
3. AGMSWT plan to stop the multiply the TB cases and understanding the TB affected people and their social relation. We are committed to Stop the TB and work as per the partnership policy and bound to focus the objective of the Organization and working policy |

AGMSWT have identified the unreached and hard to reach villages where TB is common disease due to poor earning capability & lack of awareness among the villagers.
Through the project, AGMSWT have been creating access to government TB services through advocacy, communication and social mobilization. |
