1.Blue Torch Home Care is a home health care delivery company established for the sole aim of taking health care services to the home of the patients/clients especially to the rural areas. We are involved in services such as Home care Nursing Services, Community health outreaches, Research, Total Home health delivery, Tele-Nursing,Charity and emergency responses. We run a 24 hours Home Care service.
2. We are interested in Tuberculosis because we are often face to face with our clients and the relationship has given us an advantage of health educating both the carrier on how to get treatment and health educate them on the prevention methods, TB is always in its high rate in the rural communities and we always being there help in easy dictation and cure to reduce its mortality rate.
3. We are planning on the use of our various communication system such as Short Massage Sending (SMS), OUR WEBSITE, our Tele-Nursing Center in impacting knowledge about TB based on its prevention, cure and rehabilitation of recovering patients in the south eastern part of Nigeria and beyond. However, we are planning on health outreaches into various communities basically TB as a Topic to enlighten the communities and also equip them with devices to help them alert us whenever TB is dictated, We are planning to carry out a research on the rate of TB mortality among some certain age groups and its response to treatment at some stages of its processes of occurrence.

Currently we are receiving the data of people with TB and route them to the nearest DOT Center for treatment and rehabilitation , hence helping in the awareness of the curable nature of Tuberculosis amongst the rural dwellers.

DOTS Expansion and Enhancement:
We have written an application to the State health Ministry to increase the Number of Primary health care delivery outposts where DOTs can also be positioned along in order to be accessible to the rural dwellers

Operational Research:
We are currently carrying out a pilot research on the incidence of TB in the rural communities in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria
