| Organization Description: |
| ROHEO, since year 2006 have been working to reduce TB new infections in the Krachi East and Jasikan Districts of the Volta Region of Ghana. Our heart was touched to undertake this intervention when we directly came into contact with a TB patient at the HO government hospital. Secondly, our area of operation was so deprived and hard to reach, hence TB/HIV education is poor. Majority of the populace did not no TB is curable and the cure is free in Ghana. We therefore found it imperative to undertake initiatives that will curb the menace. Hence, our collaboration with the National TB Control Board / Global Fund to undertake prevention, control and management initiatives in the two project districts. |
