The organization focused the promotion of the human development and the social development .The organization emerged in the communities, formed by the communities for the solution of their problems. It was the response of the people against the negligence and the backwardness of the area in many of the sect oral areas including health, education, provision of safe drinking water, violation of human rights, and the continuous disasters of the district communities in the shape of drought, in the shape of the flood and in the shape of the scarcity of the irrigation water. That is why the organization is now fully responded by the communities. The organization has the strong linkage with the local CBOs and other NGOs of the province and focus upon the building the sustainable community in the area. It has been in close contact with the national as well as international forums. As some of the partners are also working with the organization so it feels strong sense of commitment to work for the groups at the community level

| Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
DOTS Expansion and Enhancement: Objective of the project is “ to develop and interactive community mobilization strategy for achieving 70% case detection and 85% cure rate, in partnership with NGO/CBO network and public sector facilities at the grass root level in 20 DOT district nationwide.
The program focus on an interactive community mobilization strategy for enhances case detection and cure rate. For the enhancing case detection. The program dwells on conducting interactive community dialogue and video sessions at the Muhillah/village level within the catchments population surrounding the designated centre. For enhancing cure rates the program focuses on identifying and training and cadre of community volunteer who than can support the program on directly observing TB patients in their compliance and adherence t the TB treatment regimen . Though this memorandum of understanding (MOU), FHRRDA has started their activities as per program criteria with following activities and result.
The Project is being implemented in 3 UCs Golarchi & Ahmed Rajo and Rahuki of Tehsil Golarchi in District Badin. The total population of these union councils is 60,000 of which women are about 22,000. Badin is an old historical city of Sindh province founded in 1750 AD and graded as district in January 1975. It comprises of 5 Taluka viz Badin, Matli, Golarchi, Talhar and Tando Bagho. According to the census report 2001, the population of the whole Badin District is 1.4 million while per capita income is $290 per annum.
Drug-Resistant TB: Fundamental Human Rights and Rural Development Association (FHRRDA) is an NGO, established in 1996 with the support of community people. The organization is working for the social and economic development of the community by organizing different activities in the area, while sharing & dissemination of information is a continuous part of the organization, which has created awareness among the masses. The organization’s statement focuses “to facilitate, support, capacitate and coordinate with rural Village Development Organizations (VDOs)/Community Based Organizations (CBOs) so that the same may transfer into viable and sustainable entities
The objectives of the organization are;
a) To enhance skills and improve the individuals standard of living; b) To facilitate and engage community in the process of social, environmental and economic development.
Main activities of the project will be the social mobilization, Advocacy, through dialogu at Muhilla/village level in three UC in first quarter.
New Diagnostics: 4. Social Mobilization Activities Social mobilization is a process to get people involved in the processes for the achievement of cause and they should realize, relate, prioritize and value the issue and endeavor to achieve the same.
It has been started mobilization process such as community dialogue, Awareness raising activities are continuing on regular basis to both genders. Detail activities are as under.
1. Total village visited 24 in three UC 2. Total session held 37 in three UC (20 male+14 Female+3 Mix) 3. TB Patients identified 64 ( Male 20+Felame 44) 4. Total referred to diagnostic centre 64 ( Male 20+Felame 44) 5. TB patients confirm Total______ Male-------Female_____ 6. Total volunteer identified 31, Male 21, Female 10. Project volunteer has ensured regular dialogue activates in Villages. It has taken steps (regular sessions, guidance and motivation) to make effective these social mobilization activities. Overall problems of the villages such as health and hygiene, communication system, education, water and sanitation, are discussed in these meetings.
5. Follow up. FHRRDA held follow up social mobilization activities with to observe the progress and commitment for positive change to promotion of quality social mobilization
