Organization Description:
Vision:
We envision a vibrant society of people living peacefully, healthily and with a better quality of life through education, socio-economic development and respecting human rights.

Mission:
CAFLO’s mission is to promote peace, health and socio-economic development in families and communities by empowering people to overcome challenges facing them such as disease (e.g. HIV/AIDS, STDs, TB, Malaria), poverty/unemployment, malnourishment, physical and mental handicaps, gender inequalities, domestic violence, child abuse, drug/alcohol abuse, sexual abuse and illegal trafficking. We accomplish these goals through community education, counselling and teamwork promoting sustainable changes.

Our efforts target the most vulnerable and impoverished, with a strong focus on children, youth and women. We provide support through community outreach projects, counselling, education, advocating health, campaigning for human rights and fostering economic wellbeing through capacity skills education for self-reliability resulting in improved quality of life and sustainable community changes. Our current Action Programs within the community are our Community Education and Development program (CED), Counselling and Development Program (CDP) and Research and Documentation Program (RDP).

In addition to our prevention education efforts, we have also been counselling and encouraging people to go to hospital or health centers for TB check up.
