Organization Description:
Development & Integrity Intervention Goal (DIG) is a Non Governmental and not for Profit Organisation (NGO) form by members of National Anti Corruption Volunteer Corps (NAVC) of ICPC Ebonyi State Chapter. It is committed to Pursuing, Promoting, protecting and Improving the quality of life of Rural Poor, Remote and Hard to Reach Communities. We also work towards increasing public awareness on issues related to Corruption, environmental protection, Education, health, Democracy and good governance.
DIG was inaugurated in September 2009 and obtained legal status from Ebonyi State Government through Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in 2011 and is currently pursuing registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja.
The Organisation with Support from board members, Members contributions, in collaboration with some Local Government Area, Networks and other NGOs have been providing culturally acceptable friendly services aimed at sustainable environment, Anti- Corruption, health, socio – economic development of rural communities and good governance.
2. Vision: Society with sustainable Equal Development Opportunity for all irrespective of sex, age, status or community.
3. Mission: To Pursue, Protect and promote, a Right Based Approach towards integrating Remote and Hard to Reach Communities for sustainable healthy development.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
DIG Plan to embark on Low and high level advocacy requesting for the establishment of TB diagnosis center in Communities and village for early detection and treatment of TB. creating awareness on TB to Remote and Rural Communities. Monitor and Track the responding rate of community members.

TB-HIV:
HIV and TB has a common relation and can be mistaken with each other if not tested. There we shall make sure incedence of both are dected early, tested, treated and reported. Therefore DIG we integrate both HIV/AIDS Programs with that of TB make sure community members understands the differences and how to confirm such. Solicit for availability of ART to patient and ensure behavior change in drug in take by patient.

Laboratory Strengthening:
Advocate for equipment of available laboratories.

Fundamental Research:
Baseling Research will be conducted for every new communities we intend to work to determine the level of understanding of community members on TB, availability of TB care services, Government and community response towards TB.
