Organization Description:
Support Health and Integrated Developmnet Organisation (SHIDO) is an indiginous Nongovernmental Organisation (NGO) registered with the government of Uganda, Reg No: S.5914/9873.

The organistaion's main purpose is to bring community health and development gaps into perspective through advocacy and improved service delivery. SHIDO is interested in attaining a healthy and prodcutive communitiy of the marginalised persons most especially children through empowerment and support towards basic health care like TB,HIV and Malaria.
We are planning to implement access campaigns which put HIV and TB including MDR-TB into focus to improve service delivery and utilization

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
we do promote CB-DOTS by working with the local health volunteers recruited by the Ministry of Health(VHTs) and commuity outreach recruited by us in follow of patients on TB treatment, defaulter tracing and contact tracing

Drug-Resistant TB:
we are providing training and facilitating referral for MDR screening and care.
