| New York Medical College is a private Medical School. I have worked as a educator, researcher and foreign adviser in TB and Mycobacterial Diseases for more than 30 yeasrs. I am currently working on the development of an advanced gene chip for detection and classical for resistant strains of TB. |

Drug-Resistant TB: Working on new advanced gene chip for rapid detection, classification, and catagorization of TB drug resistance TB-HIV: Development of simplified methodologies for detection concomitant NTM Mycobacterial presence in patients with HIV and TB. Laboratory Strengthening: Introduction of molecular based systems for TB labs in the countries of the developing world New Diagnostics: Development of technology that link conventional and molecular based technologies for Mycobacteriology Labs in countries of the developing world New TB Drugs: Investigation of new compounds for their potential role in TB related antibiotic therapy |
